Steven G. Farrell contacted me a few days ago and told me about his latest script, it's Mersey Boys, amotion picture about the Beatles. Here details of our conversation:
La Muse Venale Theater Group, a Broadway based acting troupe, is currently filming Mersey Boys, a motion picture about the Beatles. Anna Shields and Joanna Pickering are two of the exciting young stars to be featured. The Mersey Boys are played by Jordan Brown, Jeremiah Stanfield, Brady Cudmore and Trevor Crane. The producer and director is M. Stefan Strozier. Mr. Strozier is also playing the male lead of Al Moran, an Irish-American art professor who encounters John Lennon and his mates Paul McCartney and George Harrison in a smoky fish n chips shop. Other performers are Tatyana Kalko as Cynthia, John’s wife, Ronnie Armani as Brian, the Beatles’ manager, and Ryan Farrell as Gerry of Gerry and the Pacemakers fame. Mersey Boys is also being projected as a Broadway play. Australian Beatle fans should be made aware Steven G. Farrell’s Mersey Boys is not the same as his Liverpool Roared. Mersey Boys the novel by Steve Farrell is under contract by New York film and TheatreCompany, La Muse Venale, Inc. to be made into a movie, shooting has already begun and will screen April 2014 in New York City at The Temples Theatre.
It will also be performed as a play with the same theater company currently running Honestly Abe Off Broadway, starting April2013.

The movie shall be shot entirely in New York City with the Hudson River passing as the Mersey River. The Fab Four are being played by Jordan Brown (John), Jeremiah Stanfield (Paul), Brady Cudmore (George) and Trevor Crane (Ringo).
Joanna Pickering, a rising British film star shall be playing the lead role of Ginny Brown.
Mike Strozier is the director of the film. Mr. Strozier shall also play the leading character, Al Moran. The screenplay is by Steven G. Farrell and it is based off of Farrell’s novel Mersey Boys (World Audience Publisher). Co-stars also include Ronnie Armani (Brian Epstein), Ryan Farrell (Gerry Marsden), and Tatyana Kalko (Cynthia Powell).
Other cast members include Anna Shields, McKenzie Ginsburg and John Chatterton.
Mersey Boys revolves around Al Moran, an Irish-American art professor, who arrives to teach at the Liverpool Art College, circa 1960.
He immediately clashes with a rebellious young Scouser by the name of john Lennon. The two soon become fast friends and are together when the Beatles are founded. Professor Moran follows the career of his four new mates from their coffee shop debut to their ultimate success as the world’s greatest rock n roll band. The hapless scholar also pursues the elusive Ginny Browne, a beautiful and independent woman.
Mersey Boys shall be premiered at the famous Actor’s Temple on Broadway in the Spring of 2013.
