Today's 'Image of the Day' is taken from Paul's appearance on Saturday Night Live's Holiday special last month.
The Christmas show was hosted by Martin Short and broadcast on Saturday 15th December. Paul shared the stage with Joe Walsh to play 'My Valentine' and Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear to perform new song 'Cut Me Some Slack', taken from Dave Grohl's forthcoming documentary 'Sound City'.
Paul rounded off the show performing 'Wonderful Christmastime' with his band and the New York City Children's Choir.
