John Lennon's glasses will be among the items on display at "Treasures of the Hard Rock."

Kurt Cobain’s eighth-grade yearbook, Elvis’ karate gi and John Lennon’s iconic round glasses are some of the music-world treasures you’ll soon be able to see at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa.
The hotel announced Friday that a new, traveling exhibit titled “Treasures of the Hard Rock” will be on display there June 14-22.
The exhibit will feature two smaller collections, pulled from Hard Rock International’s more than 77,000-piece main collection.

“We have spent nearly two years scouring our 77,000-piece collection to pull together this exclusive music memorabilia showcase that will wow our guests,” Hard Rock historian and tour curator Jeff Nolan said in a statement. “Fans won’t want to miss this rare glimpse into entertainment history and opportunity to get close to some of the most iconic personal items from music’s renowned performers.”
The exhibit will be free and open to the public.
