Iconic items which belonged to the Beatles including George Harrison's Hamburg-era leather jacket are going on sale at Bonhams in London.
A collection of Beatles memorabilia owned by George Harrison's family is expected to sell for six figures at auction on Wednesday. The lot includes a leather jacket he bought during the band's stint in Hamburg which he wore on stage in Germany and at the Cavern Club.
Also in the collection, which was given by Harrison to his brother, Harry, and other relatives are a pair of custom-made boots which could sell for around £15,000.
A guitar owned by fellow Beatle Sir Paul McCartney in the 1950s will also be sold with an estimated price of £30,000.
